gizimets everywhere

I'm not great with things and I installed the wheels on my car inside out and they flip around and they shoot out laser balls or whatever and anyway, cars have a lot of gray area in terms of what they are. Is what I heard, basically...sooty guy in a blue one-piece laying it all out. I never really vibed with, I guess, the components of things, do you know what I mean? I get...things. Okay, things, got it, but what actually are the they though?
